Corpse Party ((Open rp—Possibility for violence and gore))

Hello all!  This is my first rp thread here, a high school based thread based loosely on Corpse Party. All of the living characters are from the same school, St. Blaze's High School.  The ghosts can belong to different schools.  The demons can be anything.  Below is a character List.

"Once, there was a school in our city.  It was called Amber Star Academy and was located where our high school is now.  It was demolished after a series of murders inside of its walls stained the once...stellar...reputation of the school.  'What type of murders?' you may ask, 'could cause a school to be torn down?'  Mass murders, I tell you, where both students and teachers alike are taken and killed in cold blood.

"No one knows why these murders occurred; no one remembers much about the murders at all.  What is remembered is the names of the only two known survivors of the attacks, a sister and brother, who were a pair of exchange students who had the best luck, or some might call it the ill fortune, of surviving the attack meant to kill them.

"They, the siblings, did not survive the day through though.  In their dying breaths, the siblings cursed the school, condemning it occupants to eternal pain and torment.  It was no shock then that Amber Star closed its doors forever no more than a week later.

"Now, it is rumored that the school exists again as a ghost school in another reality; a prison for children and students who live for the pain that the siblings suffered..."


Groaning, Yao opens his eyes to a world of cinder block grey and wood brown swirling all around him.  Closing his amber eyes fast, the Chinese man lays still on the cold wooden floor for a moment longer, attempting to gain his bearings and still his pounding, spinning head.  Biting his lip, he rolls over onto his stomach, pushing himself up onto his elbows before slowly opening his eyes.  "Aiya...where....where am I aru?"  Getting slowly to his feet, he staggers a bit as the world around him swims, creating a whirl wind of brown and cinder grey.  He places pale, trembling hands onto his throbbing temples, massaging the aching skin in an attempt to relieve the pain coursing through his brain.  "I...I need to...to find someone else from....from my class.  I know that they....they came here too.  I just wish that...I can find them..."  Staggering over to the nearest door, he leans against the doorpost, another wave of dizziness overcoming him.  Through the spinning and throbbing he hears a voice in the distance.  "Ni hao?" he asks shakily, his voice carrying down the hallway.  "Friend?"

"Son of a bitch..." Vicki hissed placing a hand to her head. She felt something got and sticky. She pulled her hand away and looked at the red liquid. "Blood?" She shot out her tongue and licked the blood from her hand. Reaper blood. It was hers. She stood up and looked for her glasses.

Her green eyes darted around the hall, she spotted the thin pink frames smashed in a corner. That was no good. "Grell?" She called, her voice coming out a hoarse croak. She placed her hand on her throat and tried again. "Eric?!?"

She heard a voice call in the distance. "Over here!!!" She yelled heading that way.

Eric had been wandering around for a while now. He was in some kind of hallway. It was long and made of gray stone. Come to think of it, it looked kind of like a school. Was he in school? He looked down at his body he could have been school age.

He didn't remember much, he knew his name, he knew what he was?, and he remembered his friends. They must have been students too. Eric remembered Will, a tall stern British man with black hair. Was he the teacher? Or was he just a prefect? Maybe he was Head Boy. "More like big head boy." He chuckled to himself. The sound of his voice soothed him a little it was just as he knew it to sound, rich, warm and Austrailian. He remembered he was the only Aussie in his group of friends. Most of them were British.

It was while pondering this that he heard the one voice that wasn't British, the voice was familiar and caressed his raging nerves. It also had a very out of place accent with his little group, but it was very familiar, American. And the voice was female. "Vicki." She sounded scared, and she had called his name. "Shelia!!! I'm over here, stay where you are, I'm coming!!" He yelled, taking off around the corner. He finally spotted her. "Vicki!"

Standing up straighter, he recognizes the voice, no voices. They were his classmates Vicki and Eric. Heaving a sigh of relief, he starts towards the voices. "Vicki! Eric!" He calls out, wishing his voice to carry down the hallway.

Rounding a corner, he spots Eric running around another corner towards Vicki. "Vicki, Eric," he repeats, coming to a halt next to Vicki, "am I...are you alright?" He breaks off, a worried look in his eyes as he spots the trickle of blood coming from her head. He steps towards her, worry in his eyes.

Vicki smiles wide as she sees her two classmates. "I'm so happy you're safe." She says with a sigh of relief. She looked over at Yao and nodded. Already her cut was almost healed. "I'm alright. But... Does anyone know where we are?"

She gazed around feeling confused. A thought hit her and her panic came back. "Has anyone seen Grell?" She asked, her heart raced. She looked up at Eric. He looked at bit disheveled but was otherwise alright.

Deep inside of the ghost school, deep inside of its heart a teenage boy grins, his white teeth glinting in the darkness. Running a pale, ghost-like hand through his pink hair, he looks over towards his sister, taking note of her excitement. More victims have arrived in their haunted lair. More victims for them punish.

Ever since that fateful day that they watched their classmates get slaughtered, they have been out for revenge. Revenge on anyone within their ghostly reach, even if that included the innocent. Looking through his pale green eyes shines a deeper, unearthly light; a light shared by his sister, Kaelin, that they use for darker purposes.

Straightening up, he walks over to his sister, placing an arm around her shoulders. "Ready to contact the demons?" As he looks into her eyes, the unasked question of "Are you ready to have some fun?" shines brightly in his eyes. He waits for her confirming nod of ascent before attempting to summon up the demons.

Kaelin nodded. Her ponytail bobbing with the movement. "Yes I am." She studied the group of students that had fallen victim to their trap. She smiled wickedly. "The very creatures that allowed all this to happen, and now we have finally gotten them where we want them."

She turned and fixed her glowing violet eyes on her brother. "Let's use their own friend against them." She twirled a black raven feather in her fingers. "We can make him destroy the only people who care about him. And he will kill the one he loves most." She looked at the auburn haired girl that was in the group. She was one of those filthy creatures. Why not let the demon who loved her kill her? "He'd be powerless to stop it. It will be ever so much fun."

Grell stood in a large library filled with dusty books. The place looked almost as old as he was. Or at least he thought. Something wasn't quite right with his memories. If he had been thinking properly the first thing he would have done when he had woken up was look for his death scythe, but he didn't, and he would have found it missing if he had.

He walked carefully down the center, large tables sat with old wooden chairs, the books lay on them open and forgotten. If he looked carefully he'd even find little splatters of ancient blood on their pages. Normally this would have interested him. Today it didn't. All he wanted to do was find his friends.

He pushed open the huge oak doors and peeked out in to the hallway, running his fingers through his tangled hair. "Vicki?! Eric?!" Grell felt an emotion he hadn't felt in a bed long fine and he didn't like it, fear. He also felt helpless and couldn't figure out why.

As they walked along Vicki wiped the blood away from her head. She was fully healed. "Now what were we doing?" She asked the others. "We must be here for a reason, is this our new school?" She ran a hand over the empty scabbard at her waist. Was she in fencing? Or was she in a play? Either way what had happened to her sword.

That's when she heard it. "Grell?" She whispered breathlessly. "Grell!" She spotted him coming out of a door way. She ran to him and threw her arms around his neck, pulling him close. She have him a deep kiss and pulled away. "I was so worried about you, are you ok?" She looked him over and pulled a brush out of her pocket, getting to work on his beautiful hair. "My poor baby, I've never seen you in such bad shape."

"Yes. Completely helpless. Now to summon the demons..." he trails off, his gaze unfocusing for a moment before calling out "Sebastian! Claud! We have a job for you!" Watching the darkness, he waits for the ever familiar demons to appear.

Grinning whitely, he hugs his sister closer to him, excitement coursing through his veins. The thought of setting a demon on the best friend and lover of one of the trapped victims excites him. Never before has this happened, so the opportunity is unique, not to be missed.

Claude stepped out of the shadows and faced the brother and sister before him. His eyes closed an eerie yellow. And a wicked grin crossed his face. He knew these two, and he knew they had complete power over him. He had heard rumors of their ruthlessness.

He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and bowed. "I am at your service, masters." he hissed the last word and ran his tongue over his lips in anticipation. "What will you have me do?"

Carefully Sebastian looked around. His crimson eyes narrowed as he spotted Claude across the room. The older demon looked overly joyful. That alone made him uneasy. He spotted the siblings and frowned. "I don't much like being summoned without permission." He growled dangerously. He knew he was there against his will when he saw his feather in the girl's hand.

He growled again and spotted some very familiar looking gardening tools in the corner. Nestled among them was a mermaid-handled cutlass. "Where is my mate?" He spat, black feathered wings sprouted from his shoulder blades and his teeth became fangs.

Kaelin clicked her tongue and shook her head. "Now, now, that is no way to behave." She said, stroking the feather carelessly. "You do realize we control you don't you?" She smiled wickedly. This was going to be fantastic. He already was beginning to understand what was happening. He was a smart demon.

She glanced over at the death scythes. To kill the reapers, they needed those. Each reaper had to be killed with their own scythe. The scythes were linked to their owners. The humans would be easy to kill off, but the reapers, that would be a challenge. Those death scythes were precious.

Feliciano lay on the floor, not moving. He wasn't hurt, he wasn't scared. He was asleep. And he was at the moment, blissfully unaware of what unfolded around him. He curled on to his side and mumbled in his sleep. "It's ok Pookie, you can have some of my pasta..."

Yao sighs in relief, yet another classmate found. Thinking hard for a moment, his eyes widen slightly in fear. "Has anyone seen Feli? You all know how he is. If he's alone too long he'll just get into trouble,"

Glancing down both hallways, Yao feels anxiety fill him, anxiety that has been absent since he found some of his classmates. The idea of one of his classmates coming to harm worried him greatly, especially since he doesn't know what surprises are in store for them.

Vicki nods. "Let's go find him and get away from this creepy library." She grabs Grell's hand and leads him off. She feels dread fill her. Something was wrong, very wrong. And she had the feeling someone was missing, someone ver important to her. Someone she loved.

She looked down, tears filling her eyes. She didn't want any harm to come to anyone, but she had a feeling that wasn't her choice. And she couldn't stop it.

As the demons appear, he gives a stiff nod to Claude, turning to the demon with an evil grin spreading across his face. "Thank you for your promptness. Do you know of the new group of students who have arrived here?" he waits for an acknowledgement from Claude before continuing, "well, your first job is to get rid of the long, red hair of one of the reapers. He treasures that hair so be thorough,"

Pausing for a moment, he considers the students who have arrived. "Feel free to torture the red haired student as well,"

Claude smiled and bowed. "Yes, master." He straightened up and threw a smirk at Sebastian as he strode past. "That pathetic reaper is your best friend isn't he?" He hissed. "I'll try not to hurt his pretty neck too badly."

He walked over and picked up the sword. It wouldn't kill him, but it would hurt him. He vanished with the weapon and appeared behind the group. He was invisible, they couldn't see him.

"Let's get this started." He raised the blade and brought it down, slicing the reaper's pretty hair off and digging the blade in to the base of his skull.

He felt the hot blood hit him. No way a Grell would heal from this quickly. He watched the life drain from his eyes and his body crumpled to the floor, his blood pooling on the stone.

Claude flicked the blade a few more times and gave him a couple of deep slashes on his face. When Vicki went to run to Grell he kicked her back and sent her flying in to the wall.

The last thing he heard before teleporting back was the crack of her head against the dark stone. He passed Sebastian wordlessly and bowed. "It is done, master."

Vicki twitched on the ground, her fist clenching and unclenching. She knew her brain would heal from the impact soon but it wasn't soon enough. She hadn't seen what had attacked, but she knew Grell was seriously hurt.

"Nngh.." She groaned, lifting herself up on her hands and knees. She carefully crawled over to her mate and grabbed his hand. She gave it a squeeze.

Tears streamed from her eyes as she lay there in agony counting the seconds. She felt herself heal with each passing moment. "Grell." She whispered. Then she felt it, he gave her hand a light squeeze.

The world was black and dark, just like when he had died the first time. He hated that he was helpless and couldn't move. His sense of awareness was the only thing that let Grell know he was alive.

He felt a hand in his, but he couldn't move just yet. He wondered vaguely what had happened. After a while he heard Vicki call his name. The hand was hers. He gathered all his strength and let her know he was ok by clutching her hand.

Finally he sat up. He looked down at his own blood and smiled, his teeth sharp as razors. "Well that was naughty." He chuckled. He reached back to his neck to feel for the damage. He tried to brush his hair out of the way but felt nothing.

"What?" He looked down at his blood again. Some of that was long red hair. His eyes grew wide. "That bastard." He snarled. He looked up at Vicki who was looking at him, just grateful he was alright.

That's when the tears started. "My hair!!! My beautiful hair!! And my face!!! I'm hideous!!! I'LL KILL WHO EVER DID THIS TO ME!!!"

Vicki growled, took off her shoe and threw it at his head. "YOU JERK!!!" She grabbed him and started shaking him. "I almost died for you and all you care about is your stupid hair? It'll grow back!!" She let go and dropped him on the floor.

A vision of a handsome black haired man with kind red eyes crossed her mind. There was someone else she should be worried about as well.

Feeling panic fill him, Yao hurries over to Grell, putting his hands on the other's chest. "No, stay down. You are seriously injured," He pulls out some herbs that are inside of his pocket. Opening up the bag, he reaches in with one hand and spreads the healing salve on his wounds.

Looking up, Yao spots the tall stranger standing close to them. "Did you do this?" he demands, even though he didn't believe his own words as he spoke. "And why did you do this?"

Boris smiles, his white teeth showing in the gloom. "Wonderful, and you injured the girl too? You over anticipated my desires," he purrs, sidling over to Claude. "Now, go and find the one they call 'Feliciano' and torture him. Don't kill him...just yet...just give him a good scare. Oh, and try to find Ludwig and set him on Feliciano,"

Sebastian takes a step toward Claude his fists clenched, fangs bared. "You touch Vicki again and I will kill you myself!" He roared, his giant black wings filled the room, making him look more like an angel than a demon.

"I mean it, I'll crush you like the inset you are, Spider."

"Hey you guys!!! Where are you?" Italy called out, wandering the halls. He had woken up and found nothing odd about the situation at hand.

He was in a school, he was a student. He was alone, he'd fallen asleep. He didn't know where he was, he usually didn't. Finally he spotted his friends. Some of them looked hurt. "Are you guys ok?" He asked, walking over.
